The salience directory contains data files that aid and control the majority of the higher-level text analytics functions such as entity extraction, sentiment analysis, and query-based functionality for query-based and concept-based topic detection.

Below are links to documentation for each of the major sections of the data/salience directory. As with customizations to files in other sections of the data directory, customization to files within the data/salience directory should be performed in an equivalent folder within a user/salience directory.
